But there is that 1% I'm not sure about. If you did not paint it, how would you keep it from rusting? I think I have seen polished strips - maybe they were aftermarket stainless or chrome? | | | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 425 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 425 | That's what i'm thinking too. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 355 Member | | Member Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 355 | I disassembled my 47 hood, completely. The underside of the center strip was painted with the body color, before it was put on. Also the center of the hood was painted the same, before it was rivited together. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 272 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 272 | Painted and they look horrible otherwise. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 425 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 425 | thanks guys...... painted it will be | | |
