Hey Guys,
Where do the weather seals go on my 53' barn doors? Do they go on the body or the doors? Anyone have any of install pics?

The doors. Just like the side doors.

Great thanks! That's what I thought, but when I took it apart the seals were on the body, well about 20% of them anyway.

As MNSmith says they do go on the doors.....I got carried away and put the dang stuff on the edge of the left door over the catches and stuff. It don't go over them and I had to take it back off....dummy me!
I will make a comment to leave the weather stripping a little long, on the left top, in the very center or you'll see "daylight" between the two doors when shut, right at the very top center.....hope you can understand what I'm trying to say?

So 3 sides on the left door and 4 sides on a new the right?

yes tyler but remember, leave the one on top of the left door a little long where it meets in the middle. You'll understand why once you close the door!

Yes, Alvin - I neglected that detail and get a leak in the rain.

Me three! To be redone pretty soon as it's time to weld up the curtain holes and give them some paint.

Well got all the hinges painted and assembled, then realized that the bottoms are a different hole pattern. darn..... the good news is i only need to change one, as I got lucky on 3 of them. So what are the chances the door portions are the same?

Not sure I understand the question? Are you talking about rear hinges or front hinges? The front hinges are easy. The two top hinges have the little horse shoe springs to hold the door open.
Not sure about the rear hingss.

I couldn't get the pins out so I had a couple sets I used to make one set not realizing there was any difference between top and bottom

Hi guys seems like forever since I've posted anything. I'm. Looking for the inner trim for the back windows on both left/right for 52 suburban. Got any ideas? Also I was reading some thread regarding drainage for side windows on suburban. Is it possible to run drain tubes all the way down to holes at the bottom of the body and developed some kind of "snake device to clean out tubes periodically? Also, I finally am very close to my suburban completion and thought it would be cool to post some pics of a very long process from start to completion. Take care, KYRON
