It's been a long road to get to final paint, but I'm here. This is a basket case style rebuild/restoration and now I am to point of the fun part, Reassembly!
Take a look at my photo album. It's not in order but you will get the idea.
Here are some basics;
1949 GMC Carryall, barn door style
12 volt with generator
GMC 270 fresh rebuild, mild cam and single barrel Zynith Carb
New process GM A833A .72 overdrive trans
1956 Chevy truck 3:90 rear end
53 front and rear axles to get Bendix Brakes all around
Dual Master brake cylinder upgrade
Roller bearings upgrade for front end
New repro original style gas tank from Jim Carter
Of coarse all new brakes, hardware, springs re-arched, new shackles, new exhaust, rebuilt steering box, new radiator, ect ect ect.
This will look like a all stock Carryall when finished. I have the optional side mount bullet style turnsignals, Thanks Tim L. and accessory fog lamps to finish off the exterior when I get to that point.
Enjoy the photos!
