Any preference? | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,059 Renaissance Man | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,059 | I have used the ones from classicparts.com with great success. They are over-sized. They require a specific sized drill bit. Do yourself a favor and buy a brand new, top quality bit so that it won't walk on you, making your hole too big. Carl

I stepped my holes up in a drill press nice and slowly, and used a cutting fluid (RE-LION) to make it drill better. And I still goofed up a few hinge straps, but got what I needed. I wanted to see what kind of work they did and I do not have the upper springs yet. They had the idea and I left them to it. Got a call from the shop asking the year, make and model of the vehicle as they had to get pins. Didn't know what to say to that as I have never seen them listed by make, model in the catalogs. I told them to leave them as is and I will pick them up tomorrow. And here I thought it was a "simple" job!! | | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 | I could care less about make and model when I'm ordering something by Size... and the pins I've seen were listed as sizes not makes.
Give me ambiguity or give me something else
