| | | | Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 135 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 135 | I have a 1950 3100 that I just finished putting the driveline back on the frame. The only sheet metal on the frame is the cab.
I'm wanting to install the radiator temporarily so I can drive the truck around a bit before I put the front clip back on. Hoping to take care of as many issues I can before things become more difficult to access.
Looking for some ideas, plans or suggestions to accomplish this task.

'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.

Put all of those parts on and you can drive to Maine.

Only difference is my cab in on the frame and I do not have the radiator on it yet. I only want to scoot around the parking lot a little bit to confirm no really big issues are present. The ones you need are bolted on the radiator support on the sides near the top, and to the lower radiator baffle. Many times these get left out by mechanics.
