So im new to this whole thing and this will be my first "post" so bare with me if it doesn't turn out so well. LOL

I recently was able to purchase a 34 gmc coe and had posted pictures on facebook when Bill Hickey commented saying that I should post some pics on here for you all to enjoy, so with that said please enjoy!

3 months ago while on a job sight a co worker said he saw a old coe (knowing I liked the coes as I already have 2), a couple weeks later I went out and found the truck and noticed there was someone outside. So I stopped in to find out more info on the old girl, come to find out I knew the owner of the truck as we are in the same motorcycle club. After 15-20 min of chatting and looking at the truck he threw me a price and I couldn't say no!

The previous owner had owned the truck for 10-15 years with plans of fixing it up and putting it on a motorhome frame. The truck originally came from Minnesota where it had been modified with old mack parts and becoming a tandem truck powered with a white flathead 6 engine.

Of the original coe only the cab and front portion of the frame are from 34. The cab is all wood framed featuring suicide doors and a all aluminum cab top! Both back windows slide down and the fronts flip open. Originally the motor was designed to roll out of the front of the frame to service.Along with the truck I received a copy of a original sales brochure and a title with the vin number being 12. That's it no letters and no more numbers vin # 12!

For the time being the truck will be parked inside the shop till I finish my 50 coe and have time to get to this project. I would like to eventually throw a 2 stoke Detroit in it with either a Alison or 2 stick tranny.

Brandon, I can hardly wait to see what you do with that truck. I bet it will be beautiful. And one of a kind.

Welcome to the Club Brandon. I've seen pictures of your truck several times in the past, & would always use it along with pictures of a couple more early 30s GMC Heavy Duty COE's to convince guys that GMC actually did have Factory built COEs before 1937. I've been collecting GM COEs, for over 30 years now, and once had a chance to buy one like yours, and didn't because of the distance it was away from me. I always regretted, that I didn't buy it. Good luck with yours. Come on over to www.oldgmctrucks.com, and meet the guys there also.

Whoa, Brandon, man you have got my attention. Again, welcome to the Stovebolt and let us know how we can help.
Be sure to start a "build thread" in the DIY Forum which is a sub forum of the welcome centre. I/We definitely want to follow along with you on your build. Just WOW.

......and it'd be nice to see some pics of your other COE. You can get a signature line with links to your pics. Any problems the guys in the IT forum will help you out.
Thanks for sharing.

I will keep everyone updated, not sure when I will get to this project might be a while.

To add to the story, as it continues to grow I must first explain that I live in Zillah about 30 min from Terrace Heights where the truck was at. Today we had to many trucks up at the shop and I had to move the truck down to the parking lot that is next to the main drag of Zillah (population around 3k). Doing so exposing it to the many staring eyes that im sure it received, One of those people being a local glass guy who got ahold of my uncle figuring he would know who owned the truck as my uncle is big into cars/trucks locally. My uncle informed me that Brian (the glass guy) had stopped and taken pics of the truck and he recognized it because his uncle is the one that brought it from Minnesota and in turn sold it to Marv, the man I got it from. So here 10 years or more later Brain had a good shocker when he saw his uncles old truck he had sold some 10 years back.
