If so, post the code or a photo of the tag/code. 1951 rear dual wheel models are shown here It looks like 5 bolts on front tires and 10 bolts on dual rear tires? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | Looks to be a very nice 4000 or 6000 series truck, the data tag serial number and GVW will tell the story. | | | | | Joined: May 2016 Posts: 83 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2016 Posts: 83 | I don't have access to any of the other tell-tale identification features of this '51 chevy. The truck is 500 miles away, and is for sale. The owner hasn't supplied enough info other than these mediocre pix. I do not know enough about big bolts to even venture a guess. I was hoping some one could ID it by lug patterns/number, wheel style, differential pix, etc.....I'll see if he can get me a pic of the ID tag.... Thanks

See the before photo in the link below. Looks like a nice truck. I hope you can get it. The sample photo of the blue one not only has a grain box but stock racks that could be lifted off when not carrying livestock. They were a very common sight on the farm and ranch land in the west. I hope you get it, this one looks like a fine survivor.
Even in Alberta I love the Dr. Pepper!
