i looked this morning in several catalogs to find him a 'truck identification door plate'' for the DMV so he could register his new find. he has the old DMV paper work but needs a door tag.
i couldn't find which company sells them

I had a valid door plate and had downloaded all the information that it revealed and the CHP could care less. Since the original ID used the engine number that was all they would look at. Unfortunately the engine had been changed to a 1953 216 and it took about 3 weeks to get it all straightened out. | | |
