I'm running a stock 235 with dual exhaust.
Recommendations?

it had the 235, with a t-5 but a high way rear gear, like 2:73
never used the tach for shifting, just the sound of the engine,
mine had fenton headers, dual exhaust, 858 heads, pretty quick
but I did fine by just shifting as normal and not worrying about a red line, I would think the red line might be low 4........happy trucking..

You should have no problems at all driving highway speeds. This graph shows an engine speed of 3300 RPM @ 70 MPH with a 1 to 1 final drive ratio & the 3:73 rear end.
