The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Driveline Tie ball stud torque?

Installing new tie ball studs on a '49 3600 and need torque. Probably in the manual but I can't find it. Anybody know?

I am thinking the bolt in ball studs are aftermarket, so you will not find the torque value. GM peened the ball studs in except for the 55-59 trucks which used the more modern tie-rods.

Okay. Thanks. I had torqued to 60#'s so guessed right.
