The person i bought my truck from had the entire truck painted yellow. After selling it and getting it back from a friend. The exterior is now black primer (wich i am keeping) but i need to get rid of the gawdawful yellow on the inside. what's the best way to go here?

bite the bullet, strip out the inside, scuff sand it, paint it a color you like - maybe semi-original, even rattle can

But, your subject was... I need a quick and cheap paint fix for the interior... there is none, if you want it done properly. If you just want another color, get a spray can and for for it.

Yep, just another color. Just dont want it to be yellow. I'm not sure how hard it would be with a rattle can pointing up at the roof either

no harder than a spray gun, just make sure you wear a mask and start up there w/ the full can and work yer way down - could always do it w/ a brush on a hot day!

You can rattle can the entire interior and end up with a decent looking job. The only problem you'll have is that it scratches easily so you have to be careful. Otherwise it's pretty cheap. Did mine with just a couple of cans... two-tone even.

I did rattle can on the inside of the back of my cab, and it looked great, until I went to put in my new fiberglass headliner...scratched the heck out of the paint,..gonna use some steel wool, and try it again..It'll work, just don't touch it

Autozone carries a spray in bedliner in a can. It runs about $7 or $8 a can. It has a flat black finish. It is thick and will cover any blemishes. You will have know problem with covering any color. If you use spray paint you will have to use several coats.

Good idea. But how hard will it be to remove if/when i do paint the truck?

Oh god jus' spray can it, then buy a can or 2 of clear coat/lacquer to keep it from actually scratchin' tha paint, & coat it kinda thick

If you want something that glosses up pretty good, is RELLY tough, and with a little unique texture to it, try one of the hammer-tone rattle can finishes. Mine turned out good.

Yea, i've been trying to find some too. Most i see looks kinda like that "fleckstone" stuff.

Plasti-Kote makes a good hammer tone, if anyone around you carries that line, and it makes for a nice interior, especially w/ some gray \'accents\' - make sure you read the label tho - it comes in a number of colors, but the cap on all on them is gray!!

that spray can paint that you can buy at a farm implement store is pretty tuff stuff - kind of limited to colors but doesn't scratch as easy as the walmart variety. add a little clear coat and you have it made.

use a roller with wait rolers cost money use your hand dip it in whatever old paint is lying around in the shed,nieghbors garbage,whatever you can find that is free and let rip!
