1937 Chevy truck. I need to replace the face cap on the exterior door handle and glove box lock. Do you know where I can get these parts? The face cap is the chrome, round, cover with key slot that attaches to the lock tumbler. This is the piece your key goes into when you insert the key into the lock. Thanks, Ralph

You might try contacting Jim Carter - they have a catalog for 1934 though 1946 trucks. See http://www.oldchevytrucks.com/cgi/start.exe/start.htm

Good luck!

If you still have the old ones you might want to check them out, they might be stainless. In which case all you have to do is polish them up.

The one on my 46 glove box was stainless and polished up fine.

Just a thought.
