For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 31 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 31 | 1937 Chevy truck. I need to replace the face cap on the exterior door handle and glove box lock. Do you know where I can get these parts? The face cap is the chrome, round, cover with key slot that attaches to the lock tumbler. This is the piece your key goes into when you insert the key into the lock. In which case all you have to do is polish them up. The one on my 46 glove box was stainless and polished up fine. Just a thought. George | | |
