Hey all,

Im removing the front end to install my mustang ii kit. Ive been able to unthread the metal brake line but I can't seem to disconnect the rubber line.

Tips are welcome!

Thanks

That light gauge L-shaped piece of metal pulls out to release the hose. It has a groove in it that holds the hose fitting in place. There are no threads if you're trying to turn the hose fitting to unscrew it. Grab the L-shaped metal with a pair of pliers and pull. A screwdriver prying between the hose fitting and L will help get it started.

That did the trick. Thanks! Mine were covered with 60 years of gunk so I couldn't quite see how they worked. Makes sense now smile
