Immediately I noticed that when closing the door the weather stripping on the front edge of the door against the A pillar get pinched and stuck between the door and the A pillar, resulting in being able to see the weather stripping between the door and the A pillar.
This week I did the same on the driver's door with the same pinching problem. What is causing this?

It would just wrap around the corner. Based upon the amount of rubber I have sticking up that is not glued down on the outside as well as it's angle, I should re-check my door gap at the pillar. If I bring it back just a tad maybe the rubber will have more room to move past the corner of the pillar. DADS50, thanks for the link.

Although I believe my weather strip is installed incorrectly
I cannot see the rubber when the door is closed but do see it rubbing the pillar and a swipe mark. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2015 Posts: 79 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2015 Posts: 79 | I have the same issue as well, and the rubber is installed correctly. My plan is to use a small syringe to glue the rubbed portion back in place, then keep the doors shut until the glue cures.

Thinking of maybe cutting off 1/8" of the edge of the stripping in the area that consistently keeps grabbing the pillar.
