Does anyone know if the local FLAPS (NAPA, etc.) carries the seals for the rear axle. Mine are leaking and I'd like to get it fixed before it gets in the brakes. Part numbers would be awesome.

I did see these at Chevs of the 40s but wanted to pick them up locally IF possible. Thanks!

Rock Auto showed one available. Part number SKF 14875 for $2.40 but you may check at NAPA and see what that number will cross to. I suspect that seal was used for many years.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Hy Big Tee, the part number I came up with is National 5801, that crosses to Napa/C/R NOS18695 $32.99 reserve online price at Napa, hope that helps.

By the way, I found these seals (National 414045) on Amazon for $4.95 each.
