Welcome to the site. I cannot open your link. You likely have a Canadian built truck if it is right hand drive. Is this truck going to be doing hard labour for you? Hopefully it doesn't need too much to get her back into shape. Good luck with it.

Thanks 1953 Panel

I think your right being a RHD 5ton job as it doesn't look like US trucks went this big. also the brake parts all have made in Canada on them

the truck it's isn't in bad shape brakes are my biggest mechanical issue

rust wise its all stuff I can handle with out buying replacement parts and while it looks pretty rough it wont take a horrible lot to make sound and look OK

I don't know what Ive done wrong with the picture, its simply a photobucket image but we'll try this as a simple link.

Funny,it's the other way round here, even as a Pom I still do a double take when I see a RHD truck.
I've only actually ever seen one here in Blighty,a South African import.
Most of the trucks here are from the States as they never officially sold them here.
Add to that,we don't have any laws concerning LHD in the UK so the bulk of the trucks here are LHD personal imports from the USA and left that way, mine included.

There's loads of great info (and friendships) available here as you'll no doubt find out.

Good luck with your new project.
