Still looking for a T5 for my 50 AD. There is a guy that has a 2003 Sonoma with a 4.3 that I can snag for cheap. Has a 5 speed. Not sure if these bolt up like the mid 80's stuff.

Anyone have any experience?

That new of a trans might be the NV1500, it has an integral bell housing, I don't think they work.

If it unbolts from the bell, and is the typical bolt pattern (not the ford) it should work, but it will have an electric speedo.

Recently I saw an eBay listing for an adapter plate designed to mate a T5 with a FORD case pattern to a Muncie pattern bell. This makes the more available 1994-1996 S10 T5 an option. HERE is the LINK. The 1993 S10 has a Muncie pattern case and is world class. The 1994 - 1996 S10 are also world class but have the Ford pattern case.

There is a gentleman on 'Inliners international' in WA that makes an adapter plate to go from B, O, P, Cad, GMC to std Chevy bellhousing, that would make a 1500 with integral bellhousing useful. For got his name.

Believe Langdon's Stovebolt carries the adaptors and has been known to sell rebuilt T-5s, contact him for more info.
