Hello Everyone!
I recently fell in love with a 1957 Chevy 3800 on Valentine's Day. She's being towed to my home later this week 'cause the breaks need to be done. She's supposed to be all original - except for the bed. Title says she was a flat bed, but was a Nevada telephone utility truck back in it's day. I'm sure I'll have tons of questions, so bear with me.
I have always been a huge fan of Chevy trucks, especially the 1957, so I'm extremely excited.

ChevyNerd, welcome to the Stovebolt. You join others from your aria so watch for them! The 57 model is one of the years designated as the "Task Force". Nice find.
This is the place to get your questions answer...just be sure ask them in the garage forums and in the best one for the problem. Such as engine questions in the Engine Forum, paint or body work in the Paint Body Forum, driveline issures in the Driveline Forum. I'm sure you understand.
Tons of knowledge here. spend a little time going over the tech tips, gallery photos, and the links for parts and such.

We're here to help. Good luck and when you get it home be sure to take and share some pictures.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Thanks so much, Achipmunk and 1953panel! I'll try to post some pictures this weekend. It's being towed tomorrow morning. :)
