I have tried everything and still come up with a 1/2 gap along the top. Tried moving the hinges up, down, in and out still the gap. Also have been bending the latch on the door, I think if I bend it much more it will come off the door. I think the hinge adjustments only get you so far, they are more for the side to side. In order for it to close right (tight) I think you will need to carefully adjust the locking tang on the door.
