In late Summer of 2015 I bought a 52 Chevy Pickup that is basically stock. I am looking for a cosmetically good looking radio that does or does not have to work. The truck has a 12 volt system so I do not believe the original radio will work. I just want the radio for looks only. I posted my concerns in the classified section but I just wanted to air it here as well.

If I could get one to work as well as looking good that would be the direction I would go. Where is the resistor located and how hard is it to replace?

Jim Carter lists it as an "EL135". He lists it for 19.95 but from an electronics store like Digi Key, they cost just under $5. Jim Carter Listing
