1950 3100 the mileage work ok want to remove pointer,it look like it just pop off.Look like a folk would do it

Be careful. You can break the spindle easy. There is a tech tip her on the bolt about doing just that. If I find it real quick I'll come back and post you up a link.

Edit: here is a video that will show you how its done!


You can find a lot of stuff by clicking on the "Search" at the top of the page...or the search on the side of page. Do the search at the top of the page and type in "speedometer needle" and you'll get acess to post made here on the bolt.
