I'm in San Ramon...which year and model truck do you have?

Also, there is an active Vintage Chevy Club chapter in San Jose.

I don't think this forum gets viewed very often. Probably quite a few Norcal members. Sure are plenty of our old trucks still driving around.

I'm in Roseville. I have a 1951 GMC 5 window half ton which was originally sold here in Roseville.

I wouldn't join any club that would have a guy like me for a member.

I agree,it would be nice to have a get together. My truck is taking a little longer to get back on the road than planned. I'm hoping she'll be running again this summer.

I'm stuck in Turlock, BIG 2 day swap Jan 30-31, may drag out some truck stuff. This year we are at space AA 73, near the little coffee barn on the main road from buyer's gate. http://www.turlockswapmeet.com/
See ya

Jim,
I'm planning to go to Turlock, too. Don't really need anything, but always fun to rummage through the parts. I usually come home with something I didn't realize I needed.

Hello riverdancer9.

I'm in Santa Rosa (Sonoma County) with a '36 Chevy pickup that I've owned since 1965. I look at the stovebolt forum once in a blue moon but I check email every day.

Hey GMC/Van Pelt. I used to see about 3 old fire engines sitting in the vacant log on the corner right in the center of Cedarville. This must have been one of them?

San Jose here, 1952 Chevy Carryall - in original barn found condition - working on putting in a new motor, a rebuilt 235. The old 216 motor was from a 1951 automobile.
