My springs on my '61 K-10 short fleet have worn grooves into themselves. Do I take them apart to clean and paint, or just leave them where they're happy and just blast and paint them whole? Thanks for the help.

It will bind them up and grind them down at the same time! Carefully pull them apart enough to blast and clean each leaf. The clips may hold some of them together, but you still should be able to get them clean after a good blasting. Joe | | |
