For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 460 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 460 | Anyone know of a Bolter in the Ottawa area who knows something about old metal and can look at a vehicle for me in the Ottawa area if need be?
I have had my '55 Bel Air listed for a while and suddenly I am getting all kinds of offers... the most interesting of them is a '37 F@rd (yeah yeah, I know, but it has Chevy running gear if that makes it any easier to swallow) and it looks to be a really nice car.
John Watt has had a look at it on Facebook, looked at the details of the build and thinks it is a sweet ride BUT I don't want to do a deal sight unseen (who could forget the 1936 Chevy Pickup truck I bought and the "custom framework" that had Bobb wanting to castrate the guy who did it?)
In any case if anyone knows anybody who has the ability to check this car out for me, please let me know! Trev, it's worth a shot posting it here. Hopefully, someone can give you the straight dope on at least what they see and don't see. It is better than pictures. Good luck.

I'm not inclined to name them, they can speak for themselves. | | |
