Anyone know of a Bolter in the Ottawa area who knows something about old metal and can look at a vehicle for me in the Ottawa area if need be?

I have had my '55 Bel Air listed for a while and suddenly I am getting all kinds of offers... the most interesting of them is a '37 F@rd (yeah yeah, I know, but it has Chevy running gear if that makes it any easier to swallow) and it looks to be a really nice car.

John Watt has had a look at it on Facebook, looked at the details of the build and thinks it is a sweet ride BUT I don't want to do a deal sight unseen (who could forget the 1936 Chevy Pickup truck I bought and the "custom framework" that had Bobb wanting to castrate the guy who did it?)

In any case if anyone knows anybody who has the ability to check this car out for me, please let me know! Thanks!

get on a plane! make a trip to the capital, then you can only blame yourself, I'd go myself if that was my potential deal...and I have before.

We put out a similar request many moons ago (not for Canada) but several Bolters offered to give their opinion. Trev, it's worth a shot posting it here. Hopefully, someone can give you the straight dope on at least what they see and don't see. It is better than pictures. Good luck.

There are members from the Ottawa area on here. I'm not inclined to name them, they can speak for themselves.
