It is frustrating to not be able to contact somebody who has listed a part I am interested in.

Gets the fear going that I'll miss out on that part I need to get make my old truck better and safer.

Anyway, I have acquired an EC-302 that my Great grandfather had bought to use on his farm in 1956. They used it until about 1970, when the master cylinder went out and it got stuck in the barn to be fixed later.

Great grandfather passed, grandfather passed, grandmother asked if I would like that old truck that had been sitting for 40 years.

I said if we could get it running, I'd like it. My older brother took about 3 hours and the coil of an old IH cub lowboy to get it to start. I drove it about 2 1/2 laps around the barn before it ran out of gas!

$1200 to ship from northern OH to south MS and then my job moved me to northern VA shortly after. the truck sat in south MS where I do not see it often.

I recently had the old rusty thing at Cruisin the Coast and it drew a pretty good crowd.

It was an attention getter since it is unrestored and I was demonstrating the hand crank starting.

That was 2 weeks ago and my back is still sore!

Anyway, I am just needing to get some posts up to prove I'm not a spammer and worthy of this forum.

EC302, you have now made enough post to be able to PM members. If their PM box is full you may not be able to.
Click on their name and you will get a drop down. Click on Profile and there you may find their EMAIL address in the profile.....however, not everyone list their email.

Anymore problems post a note in the IT forum. You should not be having problems.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Is your EC-302 a 46 or early 47? Is it a dump or flatbed? I need to spend some time learning how to post pictures and I will post one of my rig.
