The emblem that I have is missing all 4. I suppose I could mount 4 bolts to it and pass those through the hood and put nuts on them but wanted to see if the clips are available. They are held on with spring clips, take the emblem to your local Ace hardware as they sell them. Another alternative is pan nuts, they cut their own threads and held many Chevrolet emblems on a bit after the AD era for several model years. A nut and lock washer worked well. The spring type clips are available from hardware stores so, if you want use them. The nut means you can remove if needed. The clips are a PITA to get off.

SKU number... Nice not to have to pay shipping. Now, on to trying to save the original emblem on my Dads old truck. I am looking for the clips and the threaded posts (4 of each) which are attached to the backside of the front emblem for mounting to the hood. I was lucky. Just the studs were broken off
I was able to weld new studs on mine
Picked up some 10/24 studs from the hardware store
And the nuts with the flange.
Not sure how you would tackle this
Maybe a 10/24 coupling nut but you will have to figure a way to attach them.
Anyone have a idea? | | |
