Does anyone know where I can order a fuel line that will fit from the fuel pump to carb. The fuel pump outlet is at an angle and I have a glass bowl filter off the carb. Seems like this is a commen set up I would think someone sells a prebent line that fits. Any suggestion? 1955 3100 1st gen. Thanks

Jim Carter has them if I remember correctly. You could form your own if you have a tubing bender. Same type tubing as used for brake lines you just have to get the correct size.

I didn't have great luck with the pre-bent line. Basically had to completely re-bend the pump-to-carb line. Couldn't make the pump to tank line work at all and ended up bending my own.

If I had to do all over again, I'd just measure and make all of it up myself with the pre-flared stuff from the parts store.

I was a total noob and found it pretty easy. Made some prototypes out of stiff wire first.

It will make you feel better doing it yourself too. Reason being, someday your fuel pump may go south. When it does, the replacement might have the in/outlets in a different position. When it does, you will need to re-bend your line. The auto parts stores have the lines that bend really easy. As long as you stick with the easy bend lines, a cheap flaring tool is all you need for the ends as well. Be careful though, next thing you know you will want to do brake lines, fuel lines, vac advance lines, pcv lines, your wifes car, etc etc. smile

I wish I had not spent all the money on stainless pre-bent lines. They all took some tweaking to fit properly, not what I was expecting. Needless to say it sounds like I may need to find a piece of straight stainless and do it myself. The problem is thus stuff is tiff to bend without the proper tools.

Yes, stainless is really nice to have and lasts forever, but it IS really hard to flare. Bending isn't easy either. Maybe just make a mockup using large diameter wire or something, then take it to an auto shop and have them do it for you?
