For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2015 Posts: 11 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2015 Posts: 11 | ....had something follow me home yesterday. Wife said I could keep it "It" is a '50 Chevrolet 6400. Two ton 161" wheelbase, with a steel flat bed and hoist. I'm getting pics and as soon as I satisfy the requirements to prove I'm not a spammer, I'll start figuring out how to post the pics. Looking forward to getting to know y'all. Bill

Put your pictures on Photobucket or one of the other free services, and then post a link to them. That way people can choose for themselves whether or not they want to view them. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2015 Posts: 11 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2015 Posts: 11 | That's what I meant.... took me a while to figure out how to set up an account elsewhere and make the pics available. (I suppose 'post the pics' was not worded correctly.)
Finally figured it out and (I think) got it down.

Lots of good things going on around here....most of the time Lets us know how we can help when you need it. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2015 Posts: 11 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2015 Posts: 11 | I sure hope it's gonna earn its keep, that's what I bought it for. Put another way, we (sis and I) went looking for a dump truck to use, this one came up for sale locally, and it's got pretty good bones...and if you're a piece of machinery, you don't get to be that old without doing SOMETHING right. So.... yes. It's going to work. If or when I find the time, it'll get made to look good while working. Ya know, I'm gonna have to have TWO 2-tons So that when I get to the point of doing this one up right, I have something to slide the dump bed off onto and keep using it!
