So I've decided to go with a cable gas pedal. Would like to know what y"all have used.

LOKAR makes a nice set up but they sure are pricy. Have one on my "Burb" but it was there when I bought the truck.

I just installed a LOKAR floor mount pedal and cable. This one.

A very easy install. You also need to buy a cable separately.
Also an easy install, but carefully measured.
Yes, pricey.

I use an S-10 pedal and a 75 Buick cable. You can use whatever fits.

Its easy to install. All i had to do was run a cable straight up the fire wall from the pedal bracket then just loop it to the carb linkage.

That is how mine runs on a single Rochester 2G. Very smooth operation. I used a Speedway bracket rather than LOKAR because no kick down was needed.

the left side crankcase [of my 292], under the intake and exhaust manifolds has a plate mounted bell crank

a stock accelerator foot pedal to a 1/2'' box tube to bell crank, to cable with heat tape wrapped lokar cable to my edelbrock 500.

simple but not so .......

I am currently fabricating a setup using the stock pedal, 1/8" steel plate for a pedal "arm", and a Jegs cable assembly. I am also custom fabricating a bracket to mount to the carb base.
