Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 2,168 | Not sure about the center console on this idea, but a low backed bucket seat set from a 88-94 Chev/gmc would fit very nicely. I removed my Dad's old farm truck seats for a trial run and if they weren't buckets I would have used them. You might have to find a another console as the stock 88-94 set up is about two inches wider than the stock AD seat. However, I found and put an 88-94 full bench in my AD. Comfortable, cheap, lots more legroom and is a fairly easY install. Remove the stock seat riser (this is a pain... Go slowly) ,make a small 1"-1.5" riser (depending on your height) and drill new hole in the floor. The seat barely touches both doors. I'm not too fussy. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2015 Posts: 4 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2015 Posts: 4 | Likely most of you are aware, yet I wanted to post information I have garnered thus far in my quest for bucket seats with integrated seat belts. For a 40/20/40 seat, the best I have found is 1999-2006 Silverado, and 1999-2006 F150. If you merely are looking for bucket seats with integrated seat belts, most convertibles fit the bill. Cadillac CTS through at least 2007 work, Chrysler 200 convertible, Chrysler Sebring convertible, BMW M3, are all good hunts. I have found the Cadillac and BMW seats to be a better start to hunt as they have typically been in better shape due to the owner taking better care of the vehicle and they are leather, powered, and often heated and cooled.
