I've been told I can swap the drum/hub/backplate assembly from a 51-54 Chevy passenger car with my 52 3100 in order to get a 5x4.75 bolt pattern. Does anyone know if the assemblies from the rear of the car will fit on the front of my truck? Thx

| | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | All you need for the front is use the 1951-54 pass drums and front hubs, the brakes are the same so no need to touch those.
On the rear you will need to change the diff or re-drill the axles.

I'm looking for something for the front of my truck. I found a 51 Styleline in a local junkyard but it only has the rear hubs/drums on it. Will those fit on the front of my truck?
