The grandson of the owner of the company who purchased my 37 new sent me a email today,it looks like he found me through here. Must have been looking for any info on the company since I mentioned it in the description of my truck and that was the only info I could come up with when I looked. I replied back that I still had the truck and have not heard back yet but I have been wanting to find out about the company for years and everyone I talked to remembered the company but that was all they could tell me.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

If you hear from them, let us know and we'll add it to your Gallery page. It would be great if they had some original pictures, too.

I understand that you may have put a lot into this truck to make it your own. But I would hope you wouldn't dismiss out of hand the desire of someone to have what was their original vehicle back. Sometimes it helps, in these type of situations, to imagine the shoe on the other foot. Suppose the truck had been your father's, and after 50 years of loving care had to give it up due to financial reasons from a health issue. Now, 30 years later, you have the resources and would dearly love to have the old girl back in the family (imagine - you were able to locate the very truck your dad owned, and you used to ride around in!). But the current owner won't even consider selling it.

Thanks,
David

I will listen to a offer if they would like it back but its not going to be cheap if they want to get it away from me,it was just a old shop truck when they sold it and has been in my family much longer then they had it. I would imagine its the only one left since the company has been closed for many years and can understand them possibly wanting it back but it has sentimental value to me too.
