I am trying to find me afetr market bed replacement for my 63 C-10 pick-up. Now..is this bed interchangeable with other early 60 chevy trucks?

I cannot answer the exchange question but there are at least a couple of companies that sell reproduction beds for a lot of trucks.
The name of one of the companies is: LMC Truck and another is K-Mar. I don't have either address with me at this time but I will return to the forum and provide those for you. My recollection tells me that a new bed will be about $1100-&1200.....but,, it will be wrinkle free. It's hard to get them that way when they are 41 years old. Hope this helps.

Try Chevy Duty for prices of parts. If you are talking about a step-side, you can buy all the parts new. I totaled them up once and came out with about $2200 with new bed wood. You will find that 60 thru 66 beds are basically the same, but in 63 the frame became wider and the cross pieces that bolt to the frame and the rear cross seal will need the mounts cut loose and re-welded four inches each side to match the frame holes. I put a bed off a 61 on my 64 step side that is in the Bolt Gallery (all this is on a 66 frame.) I don't know what the shipping will be but I guess around $300. Chevy Duty (call 800-741-1678 and they will send a catalog) has the best prices on most items. If you have a fleet side, you will have a problem because I haven't seen the complete side panels anywhere. You can get the front or rear lower side replacement panels but that is all I've seen. If you have a fleet side and not particular, you could go to a step side bed, but if you have the side trim, it won't look right. If you have a really good rust free cab and the rest of the truck is in good shape, or it can be made into a fine truck, I would sugest going for the whole bed new, but you might buy a complete truck for parts at about half the price. I find that extensive thought and research on any project benificial.

The fleetside beds of 1960-66 will enterchange, but the mounting holes are in different spots cause of the frame widths. 1960-62 had torsion bars with I think is wide frame, and the 1963-66 had the skinny frame. But he stepside beds you can use off of the 1955 second series through 1966, but the mounting holes are still in different spots.
