Hey Mickster,

Think Wisconsin would mind if Ontario showed up in 2014? I don't believe we have an area club. Looks like fun from the picks!

Sound good Larry, That sounds like a good place to start for a Michigan gabfest. I'll try to be there. I don't think my truck fits what you guys are looking for but what the heck! See Ya! Mark

Hey Larry, I'd drive my 39 3/4 ton stake there. Looks like it would be a fun day. How do you register, etc. Here's a pic of my truck

It's all original.

Larry,

If Bolters come, they don't actually have to be in or part of the show do they?

One of the ideas was just to be AT a show, parking together so you can "meet up" and hang out for a while. The show would be a "something else to do." Chow is usually available at a show so that is a logistic taken off the organizer or group.

We suggested just seeing if there is a place the Bolters could park together. When the local car club has their cruise ins during the summer, the BW ATHS group go when they can, and we park together and catch up. It's nice to have a line-up of trucks in a sea of cars.

Meet often as you can, whenever you can, however you can (and post pictures!).

Let's make something happen in the way of a gathering for Stovebolters in Michigan during the summer of 2015. I believe that a central location for guys across the state would be the fairest. I would suggest that we look at a site in mid-Michigan between Lansing and Houghton Lake. If there is interest, I would help pull this thing together. Who all is interested in committing to this?

If you can't fix it with a hammer and screwdriver, you need a bigger hammer.

I will be participating in the upcoming "Back to the Bricks" Westside Tour near the end of the tour schedule.

http://backtothebricks.org/back-to-the-bricks-westside-promotional-tour/

Plans included having the old truck on display in the showroom of the the Chevy dealer next week Tuesday in West Branch. I have been on this tour before, and it is a great way to meet other hobbyists and see our great state. It would be fun to connect with any other 'Bolters during the trip.

I just returned home from the tour. Approx. 175 vehicles participated, including a few A-D trucks. Warm welcomes were received in many communities. The weather was heavenly the past couple of days. This tour is a great way to meet new people and discover new places to visit in our state. My big discovery--I need to have my generator rebuilt (or replaced). We need to keep the old iron in tip-top shape so they can continue to be exercised!

what is the date for the Telegraph Cruise?
Friday night before rain out seamed crazy to me. I was up by the Old K-Marts on Friday night ,I only saw 1 person pulled over.It was like the police were taken by surprise , I guess they don't have a weather app.
