on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2013 Posts: 38 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2013 Posts: 38 | I am sure this is on here somewhere but for some reason I find the search option hard to use.
What was the standard wheel color for 1953 "transport blue" 3100?
Did '53 3100's have painted bumpers and hub caps? If so what were their colors thanks
Ralph

I'd guess black for regular cab truck wheels and body color for Suburban/Panel/Canopy truck wheels? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 252 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 252 | Funny, I asked that same question when I was putting my '51 back together and there doesn't appear to be a definitive answer. I finally opted for powder coat black with whitewalls and some bling rings and it looks pretty normal to most folks. Don't sweat the smallies is my best advice. | | |
