The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area General Truck Talk Door Lock

I am accumulating small parts missing off the 37 GC pickup I just bought, and I discover I am missing the door lock cylinder. Anyone know a source for this part? I lay awake at night thinking about parts. I need some sleep.

As you can see in the first link, there are a lot of part to the lock assembly, the second link shows that all trucks up to '42 use the same cylinder.

I searched the old post and found what I needed to know. Great site, guys. This is a one stop shop. I hope I can someday help others like you guys have helped me.

It rained today, so me and Boo (my boxer who has claimed the right seat) just sat in the truck looking for leaks. Seems the windshield molding will need replacing. Oh well, it's just money.

And Jim, don't lie awake nights over things like this! It's supposed to be a fun hobby. You'll eventually find the things you need. There are more important things to lose sleep over than an old truck!
