I have a 53 Chevy truck does anyone know if I can put the seat frame inside the cab without taking the door off ?

Yes you can. Fold the back down first.

It will fit

No folding necessary

I've had mine out more times Than I can count
Remove the seat cushions first

I should add mine is a 50
Not sure if the 53 seat frame is the same dimensions as 50

You should have no problems

I would think there prolly the same . I watched your video and I did pretty much everything you did on your truck . I tribute to your dad is just awesome . I'm build mine for the same reason only for my grandmother ..

The seat was made wider in 1950.
1953 should be the same as 1950.

Not foldable, but it comes in and out without door removal.
