Ive tried researching to no avail. I know i need a 180 degree but cant seem to find them item specific anywhere? I wondered why my truck was overheating until i pulled thermostat housing and nothing was there. Can someone cross reference maybe something i can get at local parts store? Im not sure on the fitment since i dont have one to go off of.

Your truck would not overheat because of the lack of a thermostat.

pking75,
go back to that post and read the input from Pre '68Dave. Click on his thermostat myth link.

A thermostat will bring you to running temp faster, which is most likely better for the engine and for more efficient pre-warm-up driving.

Is your water jacket clean. Does coolant come out when you open the petcock on the block below the manifold to the rear? You should check that out before you put the new radiator in, so you won't send any crud into the new radiator.
