I have contacted a couple of shops inquiring about re building my existing speedo, have a general estimate back from onefor $165-225. My question is to the folks that have purchased re-pop speedometers, (which I can get for $140 and up,) where did you get it ,cost and are you happy with it? Are any reproductions made here in the USA or all from...C

What is it doing or not doing? Do you have a good speedo cable installed?

I haven't bought a GPS speedometer yet but did make a cradle for my Garmin in my old 37 Buick. I like the fact that it's always correct regardless of gears or tires, shows the posted speed limit and as a last resort can even be used as a GPS.

I know it probably needs to be cleaned, some parts replaced, ect, ect. What I was hoping for was info on speedo shops for repair or experiences with reproductions such as are they worth the asking price, do they last ect. | | |
