Just wondering what you guys do to clean up the thin trim that goes over the inner door seal on the cab? It is one part that I've not seen any aftermarket providers sell, and they are thin, flimsy, and very easily bent/kinked/messed up. Mine from two cabs are even rusted out down low.

Any suggestions on how to straighten those up pieces of trim?

Are you talking about the 47-early 49 cab windlace retainers?

I believe so.

the 3/4" wide strip that has two humps on the outside and goes around the perimeter of the door.

I stripped some of my more sensitive pieces with a nylon stripper that HF sells which goes in your drill. They last a long time and don't remove metal, I would suggest going with the piece not across it. Steel wool may also work. Most are gone on the bottom 6" right at the floor where most of them are rotted away as well.
