arm and round mirror - black
I have seen smooth and "ribbed" backs (four ribs from the center out - 90 degree "pattern".
Maybe someone has a 1950 GM sales brochure with an illustration.

I added the extension arm late last fall. http://s160.photobucket.com/user/st...sky/Extension%20mirror?sort=3&page=1I have to thank fellow 'Bolters Spanky + Brad for making it happen. I have yet to actually drive the truck with this new set-up. Some concern exists as to how much wobble may be experienced. I will know once April gets here to Michigan! | | | | | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 4,263 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 4,263 | looks good

Or if you made one, what did you use?

They're 5" convex mirrors. The bracket is the original but the mirror was cracked so when I replace it I used the convex ones.

I'm going back to black on my truck
When I went back together with it 5 years ago I got all shiny trim. I found out later that they came black, so I'm going to go with that.
See it n a few trucks and I like the look.
Was placing an order this morning a saw the different style mirrors and was just curious. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 |

Try posting in the "Parts Wanted" forum here for original Extension Arms. I would be willing to bet that a fellow 'Bolter will come through for you. Best wishes!
