The "lifts" that hold open the clamshell were non existent when I purchased. Does anyone know of a vendor that repops these? I looked at past posts but could not find any references. I've also considered trying to retrofit new style lifts from current model hatchbacks so if anyone has done this please let me know what worked. Thanks

The part number above is correct. Call the company to place the order. The normal retractors have a reach of 46". On the TF Burbs you need a 48" reach. I assume it is the same for yours. Just let them know you need the extended version. The hard part is finding good cables. Right now I don't think anyone makes them. If you have good cables your are 3/4 the way there. Good luck.
Thanks

I did not get the elhippie lifts as when I spoke w them the brackets would have to be cut off and rebuilt and I don' t have the original lift brackets. I may have to go that way but leaning toward gas lifts as my burb is not all original but a restomod w new running gear. With swap meet season upon us please keep me in mind if you stumble upon some.
