Hello Everyone, I am in need of your help.

BACKGROUND
I live in Aiken, SC and recently restored a `50 Chevy 3100 (1/2 ton) Pickup. I want to keep the truck "stock" so I am looking for 4-5 "good / used" `50 Chevy Style Rims (15" x 5" - 6 lug) w/6 clips to mount the Chevy hub caps.
I already have the Chevy hub caps and B.F. Goodrich 6:70 / 15 / 6 ply(via Coker)wide whitewall tires.

QUESTION / SEARCH
Your Southern Bolter Organization is in my backyard, so I hope one of you have or you know of someone who has good rims for sale.

Thank You,
Charles Burhans

Sorry Chuck, but mine has already went to another bolter.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

If I'm not mistaken, the '50 had 16" rims. Now I have a '51, and 6 decent used 16'ers available.
Sorry my geographic location is not convenient, but maybe a "snowbird" up here is sick of this winter and willing to drive them down to you!

Hello NHluvstruck,
Thank you for your prompt reply and interest in helping me with my Chevy rim search.
As it turns out according to the Chevy P/U Shop Manual(`48 to `51) the 1/2 ton pick-up Model: 3100 could arrive at the Chevy dealership with two possible tire/rim configurations:
(1) 16" rims w/6.00-16-6 ply tires.... or .......
(2) 15" rims w/6.70-15-6 ply tires
In my case I have the 15" rims w/relatively new 6.70-15-6ply tires so I am stuck with finding "GOOD/USED" 15"X5" RIMS.
Thanks
