I just joined and wanted to introduce myself. I have a 1949 Chevy 3100 that i purchased 20 years ago when i was 14. It has been a project ever since that has been on and off again as time and money allowed. Fortunately, I am entering an "on" cycle and my wife is pushing me to make it to the end this time (she's the best).
I have had great experiences on other forums relating to other projects and from what I have seen so far things wilol be no different here. Thank you all in advance for the fantastic advice, knowledge and experience you all share. I'll do my best to return what I can.

Ask questions in the most appropriate forum for the best results. Example, engine questions in Engine Forum and driveline questions in the Driveline Forum and so on.....
Learn your way around and check out the tech tips and gallery pictures. Speaking of pics post up some when you can. See ya around the garage.

As requested, here's a few pictures of the truck from when I had the body work finished about 7 years ago. The truck has pretty much sat untouched since then.
I'm sure you'll notice the roll cage. This is a street rod project and since I was kinda young when I started, my parents insisted on a cage when I purchased the drivetrain. Here's some other details on the biggest changes with the truck:
Mustang II IFS
Pontiac 400 V8 w/ a Muncie M22
10 bolt posi rear with 3.73 gears
Fiberglass forward tilting front end
Rear fenders are 2" wider than stock
