Seems like the pat month or two there have been several guys from Wis. join up. I know there are quite a few in Wis. so keep watch. You may have a Stovebolt neighbor. Exterior and interior are going to be pretty much the original stock look - don't need to mess with Chevy's great design.
The truck did not have the original 216 so I am doing somewhat of a "retro" rod. I built a 235 with increased compression, new cam, offy intake, and split cast iron headers. My father and I just installed the engine onto the frame last week.
The only changes to the chassis are that I installed monoleaf springs to drop the truck about 3 inches. I kept the original springs in case someone wants to re-install someday.
All of the sheet metal was acid dipped and E-coated. The frame has been media blasted and powder coated. I have also powdercoated almost every other part on the truck.
Hope to have it on the road sometime in summer. Would like to take it to the Symco Shakedown.

Sounds like a good plan you have for it. Hopefully it will be on the road by summer, don't be discouraged if that doesn't happen. Good luck!
