P.S. I got stationed at Wheller air base on Oahu and my hanger still had bullet and schrapnel Holes visiable in it's structure and filled in bomb holes in the flight line from Dec.7th '41 . Made you think .

joined Aug 94 to be an 11B. Stanley McCrystal was my first Bn Commander. Switch to medic (68W) after Bosnia and Kosovo deployments. Currently had 3 deployments since to Iraq (2007-2008), Afghanastan (2012) and Africa (2014).

I remember when the Regiments were formed. So I am part of the post VN/Cold War era, 71-91. When I graduated from Ranger school, I think there were Ranger Companies at Ft. Carson and Alaska and that was about it. My time was spent in Mech. Infantry, 3ID and 1ID, with a 1 year sentence to the 2ID in Korea. All ancient history today. http://www.suasponte.com/index.htm

Ive still got a couple of friends from back in the day I try to fly out and see a couple times a year,1 is in the phoenix area and the other is out in carmel ca.

Hells angels with high and tights and bad attitudes a SF Sergeant Major(kosner or Costner,can never remember how to spell it.) I knew at ft Huachuca used to to call us at formations.
The best guys I think I ever worked with were with the Korean 6th div and 9th div(white horse)
I always thought if they took that old bad co song and substituted the words deserters we were called,with Rangers we were called.That would be a good theme song for the boys of the 75INF.
