           This truck is a 1964 C-10 Shortbed wide. Since I was 13, I have wanted a '64-'66. In the past, I have had several chances but never had the time, money, or location to store. Fresh off my first tour of Iraq (now 21), I had some money saved up and saw the truck of my dreams with a for sale sign on it. Four days later the truck was mine.

           The truck already had a 383 and a turbo 400, and pretty new paint. Since I have had it, I have lowered it 3" all around, 15 x 7 and 15 x 10 chromies, bfg radial ta, 295/50R15 in the rear. I have also done minor maintenance, new fuel filters, air filter, radiator, etc. I plan on putting the stock rear bumper back on. Right now there is a diamond plate step bumper.

           I also want to re-gear to 3.73 and put in a locker. I want to put in a 700r4. I will be replacing the wood and strips, and will be moving the gas tank behind the rear axle.

           The truck currently has '66 emblems, but just to be different, I want to put '69 emblems on.

           That's pretty much it for now. That should keep me busy for the next four months or so.
