Hi all!

Just joined the forum, recently acquired a 1961 apache fleetside long bed with a 235 and 3-speed column shift, base model truck. Engine runs good, was rebuilt about 15 years ago though and leaks a bit of oil, needs some new gaskets and I"m planning on doing a full frame off restore and putting in a t5 transmission starting in January. Happy to share pics, first time on a forum like this!

Thanks!
Steve

Steve, welcome to the Stovebolt web page. Great info and folks willing to share it. There is even a forum for 60-66 guys smile
Good luck, looking forward to some pics.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Hi Steve, welcome. I think all stovebolts drip a bit of oil, mine does. Good luck with it and enjoy the journey.
